The Elberta Peach is an end-of-the-season variety, grown at Norm Lehne Garden & Orchard in Roseburg. Elberta is a large freestone peach with a lightly blushed skin over yellow flesh. This is another favorite canning peach, with a beautiful yellow peach color that presents nicely in the jar. Of course, the superb flavor and texture of the Elberta make them wonderful to eat out of hand also!
Lehne Garden & Orchard peaches are grown using IPM growing methods. This variety is picked in late August and is great for everything: eating, canning, freezing, drying.
