Pesto anyone? Organic Big leaf Basil is available by the pound from Valley Flora Farm in Langlois, and there’s nothing like homemade pesto!
These are leaves only – NO stems – grown using organic practices and harvested within 24 hours of your order delivery. Basil does not like to be refrigerated, so you should have all your other pesto-making ingredients ready before you order your basil! Keep it on the counter – in its plastic bag – and process it the same day you get it (if at all possible).
Note: In the case of unusually high demand, we may have to back-order your basil for a week or two. If that happens, we’ll let you know, and you’ll have the option of waiting on it or cancelling it…
