Tatsoi (bunch)

Description

Locally grown by Norm Lehne Garden & Orchards (Roseburg), Tatsoi is a delicious mild Asian green – it has rounded leaves shaped like a spoon, which have a buttery texture and a slightly sweet flavor.

Tatsoi is a very versatile green, equally suited to being served raw or lightly cooked. Basically, just use tatsoi anywhere you’d use spinach. Harvested a day or two  before your order is delivered, and grown using organic practices.

To store: wrap the leaves in a damp paper towel and store them in a plastic bag in the refrigerator for 3 to 5 days. Prepare fresh tatsoi by separating the leaves (if you found a whole head) and washing well. Check this link for more info and ideas on this tasty Asian green!
