These are not the intimidating foot-long monster Daikons that you might have heard of! Instead, these Daikon Radishes are colorful miniature Daikon varieties (4-5″ long x 1″-2″ wide) that Valley Flora Farm (Langlois) grows in the winter and spring. Grown using organic practices.
Available in purple (with lavender skin and purple-streaked interior, juicy and crisp inside with a spicy skin that peels easily); or red (with white flesh, juicy, crisp interior and the mildest of the three mini daikons).
Fabulous whether thinly sliced for salads, topped on a taco, roasted, sautéed, or simply dipped in butter and sprinkled with flaky sea salt.
