Description
Poblano Peppers are grown by Valley Flora Farm (Langlois) and Lehne Farms LLC (Roseburg), and coming to you from one farm or the other, as noted above; both farms grow using organic methods.
Large, beautiful chiles with dark green-black color and mild spice. The traditional variety for chile relleños. Originates in the state of Puebla, Mexico. Dried, it is called ancho or chile ancho; stuffed fresh and roasted, it is popular in chiles rellenos. While Poblanos tend to have a mild flavor, occasionally (and unpredictably) they can have some heat. Size varies, depending on time of year.
