Locally grown by Valley Flora Farm (Langlois) and Ocean Air Farm (Ft. Dick, CA), and available from one or the other, as specified above. Smooth-skinned and sweet with strong green tops, which make great cooking greens. Harvested and bunched within 24 hours of your order delivery; grown using organic practices. To store in the refrigerator, first cut off the tops two inches above the root; store the greens and the beets in separate plastic bags in the crisper. Use the greens within 3-4 days; the beets will keep for one to two weeks.
