Description
The Forty-Niner Peach is a large freestone peach with a brightly blushed skin over yellow flesh. This is a favorite canning peach throughout our region, partly because it presents so well in the jar, but mainly because of it’s superb flavor and texture!
Grown by Norm Lehne Garden & Orchard in Roseburg (the Umpqua Valley), using IPM growing methods. This variety is picked in mid to late August and is great for everything: eating, canning, freezing, drying.
