This Green Curly Kale, one of the most common varieties of kale, is grown by Valley Flora Farm (Langlois) and Ocean Air Farms (Ft. Dick, CA), and offered from one or the other farm, depending on the time of year. Both growers farm using organic practices.
Green Curly Kale has compact leaves, tender enough to cut and add to salads; also great for cooking, with a full “kale” flavor. To store: rinse, pat dry, and store in the bottom crisper drawer wrapped in paper towels.
