Valley Flora Farm in Langlois (North Curry County) grows these tender, slender florets – sort of a “mini-broccoli” if you will – and Zoe says these are the “sweetest of all the broccoli” they grow! Orders are by the 1/2-pound, which is just about enough for a side dish for two (or a main dish for one vegetarian!)
Harvested the day before delivery, and grown using organic practices. To store: remove the leaves and trim off any brown spots; then rinse, pat dry, and store in the bottom crisper drawer in a produce bag. Use within 3-4 days.
