Description
“Coeur de Bouf” Tomatoes are an heirloom beefsteak-type tomato, with heavy ribbing and oftentimes an odd shape – these are NOT your average round beefsteak! These tomatoes are firm and meaty with few seeds and little juice, and they offer that classic tomato flavor: mild, sweet, moderately acidic.
Valley Flora Farm grows this variety in small quantities, and it’s rare that there are enough for our customers to get them. We hope to share these with you for at least a few weeks, but don’t expect them to be around for long.
Remember: to achieve their best taste, all tomatoes should be stored at room temperature (i.e. NOT in the refrigerator), and used – or processed – within a week or less.
