The Forty-Niner Peach is one of the biggest peaches we’ve ever seen and one of the most delicious too! The decadent freestone peaches are nearly the size of a softball and feature yellow fruit with a red blush and golden flesh. This is a favorite canning peach throughout our region, partly because it presents so well in the jar, but mainly because of it’s superb flavor and texture!
Grown by Norm Lehne Garden & Orchard (Roseburg) using IPM growing methods. This variety is picked in August and is great for everything: eating, canning, freezing, drying.
