Locally grown by Valley Flora Farm (Langlois) and Norm Lehne Garden & Orchards (Roseburg) – both of whom use organic practices – and coming from one or the other farm, as noted above.
These heads are nice and tight, and average about a pound each. Store in the bottom crisper drawer wrapped in paper towels. If the outer leaves get wilted, just peel them off – the rest of the head will still be nice and fresh. (Cabbages last for months in the crisper!)
