Description
If you’ve never had Brussels Sprouts straight from the farm, you don’t know what you’re missing. These “mini cabbages” are crunchy, and sweet, and so very good for you – and there’s a world of difference between their flavor and the bitter taste of most industrially-grown sprouts!
These little guys come to you on the stalk from Valley Flora Farm (Langlois) or Lehne Farms LLC (Roseburg); they’re a fall & winter crop, grown using organic practices.
Note: feel free to leave them on the stalk until you’re ready to cook them – but do refrigerate them! You can also remove the sprouts and store them in a plastic bag in your refrigerator’s crisper, where they’ll keep for at least three weeks.
