Description
Furikake loosely means “sprinkle” and is a staple in many Japanese home kitchens. This recipe starts with Jacobsen Salt Co.’s pure kosher sea salt harvested from the pristine waters of Netarts Bay on the Oregon Coast. They then add Wadaman sesame seeds, dulse (seaweed) and a touch of dried mushrooms and sugar. Try it over rice, popcorn, eggs or tofu. (Natural separation may occur, so give it a good shake before using each time.) Like the jar says, “a crunchy, umami-rich Japanese staple!”
