A California original, Monterey Jack was originally made by Franciscan monks of Monterey, California during the 1800’s and later marketed by businessman David Jacks, hence the name Monterey Jack.

Face Rock Creamery cheese is made from Oregon milk that has a higher fat content than can be found in co-op milk. The result is smooth meltability, a rich texture, and more flavor.
