“Sunshine” Winter Squash is a thin-skinned orange-colored winter squash that has the appearance of a small pumpkin, but without the ridges. It belongs to the Hubbard squash group. Inside the hard outer skin there is a firm flesh that provides a very delicate and mellow chestnut-like flavor.

Valley Flora Farm (Langlois) grows this colorful winter squash using organic practices. Each one weighs approximately three pounds, perfect for a family of four! They’re good keepers – you can store a Sunshine squash in your pantry for 2-4 months.
