Description
These Spaghetti Squash are the petite, round variety, with yellow skin and sweet, spaghetti-like flesh. Each averages about 2-1/4 to 2-1/2 pounds, perfect for two people! Valley Flora Farm (Langlois) grows them using organic practices. Spaghetti squash will keep in a cool, dry spot for 3-4 months.
The oddball of the squash family, Spaghetti Squash gets its name because its flesh turns into long spaghetti-like shreds once baked. The best way to serve it is to shred it with a fork and serve as a base for low-fat pasta sauces in the same way as spaghetti. Or, get creative with one of these Spaghetti Squash recipes!
