Description
Ocean Air Farms (Ft. Dick) and Lehne Farm LLC (Roseburg) both grow a standard Red Potato that is non-GMO and is farmed using organic practices. These have been harvested and cured for winter storage and use, and we anticipate having them for the next month or two, coming from one or the other farm, as specified above.
Note: A “New” potato just means a potato that’s been freshly dug and hasn’t been cured, i.e. the skin hasn’t been dried so the potatoes can be stored long term. A New potato has a very thin, fragile skin; while they’re NOT suitable for baking, you can still fry, mash or boil them. 🙂
