Valley Flora Farm (Langlois, North Curry County) grows a red onion variety known as “Cabernet.” These are cured, and will store in cool, dry conditions for 4-5 months (note: do not refrigerate).

This is a high-quality red storage onion, small to medium in size (averaging about 3/4 lbs. each), with excellent keeping ability and a mild to sweet flavor. Like all their veggies, Valley Flora grows these onions using organic practices.
