Description
Winter Crisp Lettuce sports heavy, crisp heads with red outer leaves and blanched crunchy hearts. A cross between red leaf and iceberg with an open-heading shape, Winter Crisp is mild-flavored with a crunchy texture.
Grown by Valley Flora Farm (Langlois) using organic practices. To store: rinse, pat (or spin) dry, and store in the bottom crisper drawer wrapped in paper towels.
