Description
NOTE: This garlic is not cured yet, but comes to you “green” (i.e. fresh) with the stalk attached. You can refrigerate it and use it like it is, or you can cure it by hanging it in your kitchen or pantry until the stalk is dry.
This is the standard “Gilroy Garlic” – basically, the soft-neck California White. Grown by Norm Lehne Garden & Orchards (Roseburg), and grown using organic practices.
This classic, white-skinned garlic has a semi-rich flavor without the huge bite of garlic – although the garlic flavor is still there! Green and fresh, soft-neck garlic will keep fine in the refrigerator; cured (i.e. dried), it will keep for about 6 months in the pantry.
