Description
Valley Flora Farm (Langlois) and Norm Lehne Garden & Orchards (Roseburg) both grow the elongated, thin “Asian” Eggplant (light purple, smaller than Italian, and about 1/3 to 1/2 lb. each). Asian (aka Chinese) Eggplant has a more delicate flavor than the large globe-shaped Italian eggplants.
Both farms use organic practices, and harvest within a day or two of delivery. Each week the eggplant will come from one or the other, as noted above.
