High Prairie Farm (Brookings) has discovered a new variety of cucumber known as “Burpless Tendergreen” (called “burpless because they can be eaten with the skin, without causing digestive issues).
The skin is thin and light green, with tender flesh and a very sweet (never bitter) flavor. Sold by the pint, averaging 3-4 small cucs per pint. Naturally grown, using organic methods.
