Description
Valley Flora Farm grows a sweet corn known as “Allure” which, according to Johnny’s Seed Company, “…is the first organic synergistic variety on the market. The 8″ ears are refined and have both great tip fill and excellent flavor.”
“Allure” is a bi-color variety, which means the corn is a combination of white and yellow kernels. I’ve also heard it called “peaches & cream” or “butter & sugar”. Bi-color corns tend to be the sweetest varieties. It’s a new variety for Valley Flora, and of course, being organic means it’s also non-GMO. Picked on Fridays – the day we pick it up – and on your dinner table 24 hours later!
