Description
Norm Lehne Garden & Orchard (Roseburg) grows a “cooking” celery for fall/winter harvest. Note: this is NOTHING LIKE the blanched celery bunches that you’re familiar with in the store. This celery is quite strong, and is best used for flavoring stews, soups, and the like. I would not advise eating it raw, but it’s marvelous for cooking! Each bunch has about 10 stems each.
To store in the fridge, rinse, dry, and store in plastic bag in the crisper. Use within a few weeks.
