These oranges come to us via Ocean Air Farm, although they aren’t the ones who grow them!
Here’s the story: every year, around the holidays, Ocean Air farmers Paul & Julie Jo (and kids) travel down to southern-central California to visit family. While there, they load up a trailer full of oranges that their Uncle Dean grows (without the use of chemicals, I might add!) They bring them back to Ft. Dick, and offer them for sale throughout the winter months to their customers…
And this year, for the first time, OtterBee’s Market customers can purchase them via our website! While we focus on local food – food that originates from within 200 miles of Brookings – occasionally we make an exception…and this is one of those times! Enjoy them while you can as the supply is limited… 🙂
